Created page, added some history and did some sound correspondences.

New page

Táwpkə was a dialect of Wàrhətïmáx spoken in the ancient lands of the Sunset Imperial Realms of Nərtármágixə (now known as Normeia).

==Etymology==
Its speakers went by many ethnonyms, many with heavy ties to the prevailing religious worldview,. For example, Táwpkə is formed from tawp-k, twap- meaning "to crouch or cower", and -k being an adjectival ending. Other popular ethnonyms used roots such as xualh-, which means "to fall", and "pàltə", a word that either has something to do with fortifications or more falling (or perhaps refers to clearing an area in preparation for construction).

==Vowels==
There are 4 vowels in the language:
* i
* u
* ə
* a

Of these, a (and to a lesser extent ə) has two pitches, rising and falling, which have evolved more into two separate vowels - á, where the mouth is more closed, and à, where the mouth is more open.

The language also had vowel length, but it is not very systematic.
