Vertlandic (hə taŋʷas vərɬanak /hə ˈtaŋʷas vəɾˈɬanak~vəɾˈθanak/ from *bertolandākā, lit. Brightlandic) is a conservative Celtic language spoken in Iberia and North Africa. It was an important vehicle for transmitting A-Arabic loans to English. It is inspired by Lushootseed and Welsh.
