Angai (/ˈɑːŋgaɪ/ from Aíkaì Ānkạì /a⁵ŋ³ka¹i²/) is an alternate history Earth setting dominated by highly tonal languages. (The point of divergence from our timeline is some point before humans left Africa, so we still have all Earth species including humans, but today's human languages are from completely different families)
