Etymology

From Latin libra. In the latter sense, by analogy to the "solidus" of the Solid New Einsthal currency reform of 1992, in which the silver standard was reintroduced to Danterlokhan as an emergency measure (coincidentally making the new libra fungible for about a Roman libra of silver at first).
